TVN is a Polish commercial television station. The broadcaster was co-founded by Polish businessmen Mariusz Walter and Jan Wejchert. It is owned by TVN Group, which as of March 2018, is a subsidiary of Discovery Inc. Formerly called “Telewizja Wisła”, a now defunct Polish commercial, supra-regional television station existing in 1995-1997, the predecessor of TVN.
