NASA uses Icelandic lava field to prepare for 2020 Mars mission

To get its new space explorer ready for a 2020 mission to Mars, NASA visited the Lambahraun lava field in Iceland, in July, testing out the new space equipment among the areas black sand and rugged terrain.
