S. Korea, U.S. renewed Mutual Airlift Support Agreement last month

South Korea and the United States have renewed an deal that allows the use of private aircraft, namely Korean Air's fleet, to readily transport troops and military equipment in or near the peninsula.
The defense ministry confirmed Tuesday that the two sides extended their 2004 Mutual Airlift Support Agreement last month.
The pact is renewed every five years.
Without disclosing further details... the ministry said there were no major changes to the agreement.
