According to ‘Forbes,’ Naomi Osaka earned
a total of $24.3 million over the last year.
Osaka was only out-earned by fellow tennis
veteran Serena Williams, who pulled in $29.2 million, .
making her the world’s
highest-paid female athlete
for the fourth year in a row. .
An estimated $16 million of Osaka’s earnings came
from endorsements with MasterCard, Nissan,
Procter & Gamble and All Nippon Airways.
The remaining $8.3 million came from her win
over Williams in the 2018 U.S. Open championship, .
as well as her victory over Petra Kvitová
in the Australian Open championship in 2019. .
Both Osaka and Williams earned more than twice
as much as Angelique Kerber, the third-highest-paid
female athlete, who pulled in $11.8 million. .
