After the removal of article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, now the next step of the Modi government will be delimitation. Through which the Lok Sabha and assembly constituencies will now be divided in Jammu and Kashmir. It is believed that if the delimitation is done, the assembly seats of Jammu will increase and the seats in Kashmir will decrease. After delimitation, there will be an increase of 7 seats in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. BJP may more benefit in coming assembly election.

जम्मू-कश्मीर से आर्टिकल 370 हटाने के बाद अब सरकार का अगला कदम डिलिमिटेशन का होगा। जिसके ज़रिए अब नए सिरे से जम्मू-कश्मीर में लोकसभा और विधानसभा क्षेत्र बांटे जाएंगे। ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि अगर डिलिमिटेशन किया जाता है तो जम्मू की विधानसभा सीटें बढ़ जाएंगी और कश्मीर की सीटें कम हो जाएंगी। डिलिमिटेशन के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर विधानसभा में 7 सीटों का इज़ाफा होगा। जिसका फायदा बीजेपी को मिल सकता है।
