July 2019 was the hottest month ever recorded across the world.
This according to a report on Monday by the EU's Copernicus Climate Change Programme.
Last month was around zero-point-five-six degrees Celsius warmer than the global average temperature between 1981 to 2010.
That's slightly hotter than July 2016,... the previous record set three years ago.
With continued greenhouse gas emissions and its impact on global temperatures... records are expected to fall even faster in the future.
