In August 2014, the so-called Islamic State began a campaign of genocide against Iraq's Yazidi minority. The Sinjar region, the Yazidi's ancestral home in northwestern Iraq, was liberated from the extremists in November 2015, but five years on, many Yazidis still live in refugee camps and thousands remain unaccounted for. DW's Birgitta Schülke met Yazidis still looking for answers.
