It's a wet, wet day in Korea, we are talking torrential showers with heavy rain warnings in place for in northern parts of the country, including in Seoul.

Good morning. It was one tough morning commute, the weather agency issued season's first heavy rain warning for Seoul and its surrounding areas about three hours ago and it's been pouring since then. We can expect to see even heavier showers later.
Central western regions will see up to 300 millimeters of torrential showers into Sunday such heavy downpours bring the chance for flash flooding...and drivers need to be careful.
Heavy rain alerts are in place for central parts of the country, further north is under a heavy rain warning. The powerful showers will gradually expand to more regions. Meanwhile, a heat wave advisory remains in place for parts of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Daegu.
Daily highs will be similar to yesterday in most regions, ranging from 27 to 33 degrees.
After this last round of monsoon rain lets up, the peak summer vacation season arrives, which is also the hottest time of the summer in Korea.
