While eco-tourism is booming around the world, the Dutch company Plastic Whale is offering a new style of cruises along Amsterdam's famous canals. Participants aim to fish as much plastic waste as possible during a two-hour boat tour. In 2018, nearly 12,000 people took part in these cruises, with participants ranging from tourists or Dutch citizens from businesses and schools.
