You'll Need:
- 1 baguette
- oil for frying
- 10-11 oz ground beef
- 8 tbsp BBQ sauce
- ½ red onion, sliced
- ¼ cup jalapeños
- 3.5 oz shredded cheddar
- ½ stick soft butter
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- salt
Here's How:
1. Cut the baguette in half in the middle and again through the center lengthwise. Heat a little oil in a pan and brown the ground beef. Add the BBQ sauce and stir until the beef is well coated. Then add the beef mixture to the bottom halves of the baguettes.
2. Sprinkle with red onion, jalapeños, and cheese.
3. To prepare the herb-garlic butter mix, add butter, parsley, garlic and salt in a small mixing bowl and mash the ingredients together with a fork.
4. Brush the butter mixture onto the closed baguettes and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
