Defending champions Bengaluru Bulls begin their Pro Kabaddi title defence against three-time winners Patna Pirates at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday. It promises to be an action-packed encounter with both teams boasting of star raiding units. Patna Pirates head into the new campaign eager to reclaim the Pro Kabaddi crown. Bengaluru Bulls, meanwhile, will want to begin their title defence on a positive note and they will be confident of their chances as long as Pawan Kumar Sehrawat fires.

प्रो कबड्डी लीग के 7वें सीजन का आगाज 20 जुलाई से हैदराबाद में हो रहा है, जिसमें घरेलू टीम तेलुगु टाइटंस दूसरे सीजन की चैंपियन टीम यू-मुंबा से भिड़ेगी। इसी दिन बेंगलुरु बुल्स भी 3 बार की पूर्व चैंपियन टीम पटना पाइरेट्स के खिलाफ खेलेगी।इस बार प्रो कबड्डी लीग के फॉर्मेट में बड़ा बदलाव किया गया है। इस सीजन पीकेएल जोनल की जगह राउंड रॉबिन फॉर्मेट में खेली जाएगी, जिसमें सभी टीमें एक-दूसरे से 2-2 बार भिड़ेंगी। ग्रुप स्टेज में हर टीम 22 मैच खेलेगी। पाइंट टेबल में शीर्ष पर रहने वाली 6 टीमें प्लेऑफ के लिए क्वालीफाई करेंगी।
