To celebrate the approaching 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 Moon landing,... NASA has released a YouTube video showing scientists checking samples brought from the moon for any sign of life.
It's the first time such footage has been released.
In a statement explaining the video, a biologist said they had to be careful to avoid contaminating the samples, such as lunar rocks, soil, and dust.
So they had to sterilize every tool used in the process.
After several months of testing, the research ended with no life found.
