Vapers More Likely
to Quit Cigarettes A study published by JAMA Internal Medicine found that adults who vape are more likely to quit cigarettes. The research tracked 5,000 smokers over 2 years and found that those who vaped were 1.5 times more likely to quit smoking. The results also showed that e-cigarettes may increase the odds of luring back smokers who already quit. It was also noted that smokers who quit prior to 2013 were at a higher risk of relapse due to newer models of e-cigs offering higher levels of nicotine. Ramchandar Gomajee, via CNN
