A U.S. House panel filed a lawsuit demanding President Donald Trump’s individual and business tax returns. According to Reuters, the lawsuit is against the U.S. Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin refused a request for the records and defied two congressional subpoenas. Rep. Bill Pascrell said: “The judiciary has been a bulwark against Trump’s steaming corruption and roughshod lawlessness.” The Trump administration has not yet released a comment regarding the lawsuit.
