Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein faces charges of child sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. According to Business Insider, these charges reignited demands for Labor Secretary Alex Acosta to resign. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wrote on Twitter that Acosta “must step down.” In her tweet she referred to a non-prosecution deal Acosta made with Epstein in 2007. The deal let Epstein plead guilty two counts of soliciting prostitution and register as a sex offender.
