President Donald Trump recently defended his Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta. Acosta faces pressure from Democrats to resign over his handling of a sex abuse case against Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein faces sex trafficking charges, bringing into question how Acosta handled his case in 2008. Over a decade ago, Acosta gave Epstein a plea deal for a related case in Florida. Trump said he feels bad for Acosta and knows him as someone who “works so hard and has done such a good job.”
