South Korea's finance minister Hong Nam-ki, meanwhile, has criticized Japan's move to restrict exports of high-tech materials...saying that it's a clear act of economic retaliation.
In an interview with CBS radio on Thursday,... Hong said... the government will come up with countermeasures if Japan doesn't withdraw the regulations... adding that such a move will not only hurt the Korean economy but also Japan's.
As for possibly filing a complaint with the World Trade Organization... Hong said, the government will decide *when to file the complaint as soon as an internal review is over... but that it takes a long time for the result to come out once the complaint is filed.
