Klay Thompson Has
Successful ACL Surgery Thompson tore the ACL in his left knee
in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Warriors were leading 83-80 at the time,
and Thompson had 30 points. The Raptors came back to win 114-110 for their
first NBA championship in franchise history. Thompson had surgery and is expected to make a
full recovery in five to seven months,
according to his agent, Greg Lawrence. Greg Lawrence, via ESPN Thompson agreed to a five-year, $190 million
max contract to return to Golden State this week. The Warriors star averaged 21.5 points,
3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists during the
2018-19 regular season.
