Video cameras were rolling as Immelt described Trump’s feat.

Immelt said that he and two other executives were golfing with Trump at one of the billionaire’s courses as part of a mission to talk Trump into doing “The Apprentice,” the reality TV show that began in 2004.

“President Trump goes up to a par-3 on his course. He looks at the three of us and says ‘You realize, of course, that I’m the richest golfer in the world.’ That’s a comment, then gets a hole-in-one,” Immelt recalled.

“I have to say, I’ve seen the magic before,” he added, as others in the room erupted in laughter. Vice President Mike Pence can be seen laughing heartily while sitting next to Immelt.

“It’s crazy,” said Trump. “No, I actually said that I was the best golfer of all the rich people. To be exact, and then I got a hole-in-one.”

Trump has for decades been an avid golfer and golf-course owner, and he has played golf each of the past three weekends.
