Pune based Tork Motors started out in 2008 as Kapil Shelke’s passion project, creating electric bikes for racing circuits across the world. A stint in China and a motorcycle ride with Ola’s Bhavesh Agarwal got Kapil innovating for the larger consumer market in India. The result is that Tork T6X, the electric bike that can hit a top speed of 100 kilometer per hour, has its own operating system, and can do a 100 kilometer on a single charge.
