Seoul City is looking for non-Korean residents who have been role models to the capital's citizens and international residents.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is accepting applications for honorary citizenship to recognize an international resident's contribution to the local community.
Candidates need to have resided in the city for more than three consecutive years and made significant contributions to Seoul,... in one of many aspects, including culture, economy or science.
Those granted honorary citizenships will be invited to official events and provided with discounted admissions to facilities operated by the city.
The deadline is July 19th.
Those interested can apply through postal mail or in person.
