After the three language controversy, another row related to academics is brewing in Tamil Nadu, this time over the NEET, the common medical entrance exam. Post three students from the state committing suicide after they failed to clear the NEET exam, clamour to scrap the NEET exam has grown manifold with the DMK leading the charge, asking the govt to give an exemption to students from Tamil Nadu from taking the NEET exam.
