James Comey slammed William Barr on Saturday.

Former FBI Director James Comey accused Attorney General William Barr of "echoing conspiracy theories" in a recent CBS News interview.

"Bill Barr on CBS offers no facts," Comey tweeted Saturday. "An AG should not be echoing conspiracy theories. He should gather facts and show them. That is what Justice is about."
A Washington Post piece notes about Barr's CBS interview: "Over the course of the interview, he didn't reveal much new information, but he repeatedly reiterated the allegation that the investigation into possible coordination between Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia was in some way suspicious."
Days ago, Comey also reacted to President Trump's claims.
"The president claiming the FBI's investigation was 'TREASON' reminds me that a Russian once said, 'A lie told often enough becomes the truth.' That shouldn't happen in America. Who will stand up?" Comey tweeted last month.
Hours prior, Trump had called the FBI's early investigations into potential Russian influence in his 2016 campaign "treason."  "My Campaign for President was conclusively spied on," Trump wrote. "Nothing like this has ever happened in American Politics. A really bad situation. TREASON means long jail sentences, and this was TREASON!"
