"Design and Fabrication of Cold Storage using PCM"

The aim here is to demonstrate the working of Vapour-Compression Refrigeration System (VCRS) in Cold Storage Plant and to improve its functioning and temperature drop in cold chamber during power cut.

Experimental Setup:
Cold Cabin (Dimensions) - 0.304m x 0.2159 m x 0.2159 m (lxbxh)
Compressor - 1/6 HP (125W)
Condensor - 13 inch Double Row
Condensor Fan - 5W, 1400 rpm
Evaporation Coil - 27 ft., 1/4 inch diameter
Refrigerant - R134a
Pressure Gauge - -30 to 150 psi
Co-efficient of Performance (COP) of System - 2.64
