한미 국방장관회담 내달 3일 서울서… 연합연습•전작권 논의

The defense chiefs of South Korea and the U.S. will meet in Seoul next Monday.
Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo and acting U.S. Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan are expected to touch upon pending issues such as their joint military drills and the eventual transfer of wartime operational control to South Korea.
Just before the meeting,... from this Friday to Sunday, Defense Minister Jeong is scheduled to go to Singapore to attend Asia's biggest annual security forum,... the "Shangri-La Dialogue".
There he will call for close cooperation among the participants to achieve the successful denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
