Good morning. A cool start to your Thursday will quickly warm up by the afternoon. Temperature gaps will be 10 to 17 degrees across the country.
Less sunshine... but still southern parts of the country and Jeju will see very high UV levels. Air is getting dry again while regions in the east like Daegu and parts of Gyeongsang-do and Gangwon-do Provinces are under dry weather advisories.
Also eastern regions will have higher daily highs, surpassing 30 degrees Celsius at 31 degrees in Daegu and 32 in Gyeongju.
But the heat will ease tomorrow there and typical early summer weather will stay with us for a while.
This May, we saw some record breaking temperatures so many of us are wondering if this summer is going to be a real harsh one. The weather agency says it won't be as hot as last year, but up to three typhoons could affect the Korean peninsula.
