2019 제주포럼 수요일 개막,... 비핵화 협상 및 아시아 평화 등 논의 예정
The annual Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity has kicked off for a three-day run on Jeju Island, where former and sitting diplomats and experts will discuss regional issues.
They will work out how to peacefully resolve stalled nuclear talks between Pyeongyang and Washington, as well as look at what the prospects are for the North's denuclearization.
Seoul's nuclear envoy Lee Do-hoon, former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and former Special Envoy for the Six-Party Talks, Joseph DeTrani, will be among the speakers.
Other Agenda items include the future of U.S.-China relations and President Moon's New Southern Policy.
