Meek Mill Suing Las Vegas Hotel for
Racial Discrimination and Defamation The rapper and his entourage were denied entry
into the Cosmopolitan hotel over the weekend. In a video released by TMZ, Meek is seen trying to get into Marquee Nightclub, but is
told to leave. A security guard is heard saying that Meek
isn't allowed in due to a past incident,
but doesn't explain further. Meek was also denied entry into Cosmo's restaurants
and was threatened with arrest if he left his car. The hotel says Marquee was full at the time
and that it told Mill this beforehand. But the rapper's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says he
will seek "considerate financial damages." Joe Tacopina, via TMZ He goes on to say that the hotel is lying
about what transpired and
"humiliated" his client. Joe Tacopina, via TMZ Tacopina adds that Meek Mill is not the only black rapper
whom Vegas hotels have discriminated against. The lawyer claims Yo Gotti and BlocBoy JB have reported acts by establishments as well.
