Our top story this evening,... U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton says... North Korea's recent missile tests are in violation of UN sanctions against the regime.
Speaking to reporters in Tokyo on Saturday,... Bolton said there is "no doubt" that a violation had occurred... as UN Security Council resolutions prohibit the launch of any ballistic missiles.
Bolton added that Washington is willing to hold talks with Pyeongyang despite the missile launches... and that Trump has kept the door open for North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
North Korea fired a number of projectiles into the East Sea,... in a span of less than one week earlier this month,... including short-range missiles.
