Coca-Cola Bringing Back 80s' Drink
for 'Stranger Things' Season 3 The beverage company has teamed up
with Netflix for the return of 'New Coke.' 'New Coke' previously debuted in 1985, the
same year 'Stranger Things' season 3 is set in. The drink will be showcased in select episodes
of the hit show, which comes back July 4. The original launch of 'New Coke' back
in the 80s was seen as a disaster. Fans were not pleased with it replacing the drink
they were already accustomed to and rebelled. After less than three months, 'New Coke' was
taken off the market and replaced with the original. The concoction for it has since remained at
Coca-Cola's headquarters in Atlanta. According to 'Variety,' half a million cans of it will
be available. You can purchase on the web
at CokeStore.com/1985.
