Nur-Sultan, May 10 (EFE).- Kazakhstan on Friday announced the return from Syria of 156 children, including several orphans, and dozens of Kazakh adults who had travelled to the war-torn Arab nation to support the Islamic State.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said 231 Kazakh citizens were "evacuated" from Syria on Tuesday and Thursday as part of the country's ongoing "Zhusan humanitarian operation."
