Britney Spears Files Restraining Order Against Former Manager Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi,
is now required to stay at least
200 yards away from her. The pop star apparently has a turbulent history with Lutfi. In 2008, he allegedly tried
to undermine the terms
of a conservatorship A restraining order was also issued at that time,
as Spears' mother accused him of drugging her
daughter and controlling her phone. Another restraining order was issued
in 2009 when Spears' team accused Lutfi
of trying to control Spears' finances. In April of this year, Spears took to Instagram to accuse Lutfi of "pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address." Lutfi has denied all of the claims and
previously said that he has
"merely responded to cries for help." According to 'The Guardian,' a hearing
to obtain a permanent restraining
order will occur on May 28.
