Violence in West Bengal has hit a new low. In a shocker of an incident, the NewsX crew out covering phase V elections in the 5 seats of West Bengal today was attacked by TMC goons. The channel correspondent Tapas Sengupta sustained injury on his head, the car of the NewsX crew was also vandalised, the windows were smashed by the TMC goons. BJP vehemently criticised the TMC and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the action. The TMC on the other hand has pinned the blame on BJP.
