Interview by Emilio Lopez-Menchero - Timing 55:40. Katerina Gregos, originally from Greece, is a curator and writer based in Brussels. Currently she is curator of Contour09 in Mechelen. In 2006 and 2007 she was the artistic director of Argos, the Centre for Art and Media in Brussels. From 1997 to 2002 she was the Director of the Deste Foundation, Centre for Contemporary Art in Athens. As an independent curator she has organised numerous exhibitions internationally including, among others, the E V+ A biennial, Limerick, Ireland (2006), Leaps of Faith: An International Art Project for the Green Line and the City of Nicosia, Cyprus (2005) and Channel Zero, for the Netherlands Media Art Institute, Amsterdam (2004). She regularly publishes on art and artists in magazines, books and exhibition catalogues, and is a frequent speaker in international conferences and seminars.
