How to Mute a Tab in Firefox Web Browser?

Note: Update your Firefox browser first, if you have not updated it. Click on 'three bars' at the top right. Click on 'help', and then click on 'About Firefox'. If update available, it will update your Firefox.

Method 1:

Go to the Tab that you want to Mute, and then click on 'speaker' icon in Tab to mute. If you want to unmute, again click on 'speaker' icon.

Method 2:

Go to the tab that you want to mute, right click on it. Click on 'Mute tab'. To Unmute, again right click on the tab, and then click on 'Unmute a tab'.

Method 3:

To Mute a tab, press 'M' key on keyboard. To Unmute a tab, press 'M' key again.


It's done.
