Larry King Did Not Have a
Heart Attack Despite Reports Early ‘TMZ’ reports said Larry King suffered a
heart attack and went into cardiac arrest on April 23. These reports have been denied
by King’s representative, Ora TV. Ora TV, via statement The statement went on to explain that King
experienced severe chest pain before his scheduled
angioplasty that day and went to the hospital early. He has reportedly had a successful procedure
and is expected to make a full recovery. The 85-year-old CNN personality suffered
from a heart attack in 1987 and underwent
quintuple-bypass surgery as a result. King has spoken openly about his heart
conditions since then, and went on to create
the Larry King Cardiac Foundation in 1988.
