President Moon Jae-in is working on giving his peace drive a much-needed boost,... while also closely monitoring the goings-on in Vladivostok.
The top office says President Moon will meet with the visiting Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev.
The Russian official, often described as Putin's right-hand man, will also hold talks with Seoul's National Security Advisor Chung Eui-yong.
No details have been revealed about the agenda for the talks, but it's largely expected to be about the North Korea-Russia summit.
Patrushev is also expected to talk about a possible visit to Seoul by President Putin after President Moon went to Moscow last year.
