State of emergency in Ontario town as homes and sidewalks submerged

Flooding reached the doorsteps of houses and created fast-moving rivers where sidewalks and roads used to be in parts of Central Ontario, Canada.

The filmer said the flooding is caused by "warmer temperatures, rain and snow melting."

The rising water levels has caused a state of emergency in the town of Bracebridge in Muskoka District Municipality.

The video was captured today (April 24).
