In a big u-turn, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi, has now apologised over his Chowkidar Chor Hai remark. Rahul Gandhi at a rally had attributed the Chowkidar Chor Hai comment to the Supreme Court. BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi had filed a contempt of court case against Rahul Gandhi for his disparaging remarks. Rahul Gandhi admitted that he had made the comments in the heat of the moment. It remains to be seen whether Rahul Gandhi regrets remark on Chowkidar. He has responded to the SC.
