Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by six wickets at home in the IPL on Wednesday. Opting to bat first, CSK were restricted to 132/5, and in reply, the hosts chased down the target with ease, and 19 ball to spare. However, it wasn’t just the fact that they lost the game that had CSK fans disappointed. They were also upset that ‘Thala’ MS Dhoni did not lead the team in an IPL game for the first time since 2010.

चेन्नई के कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी पीठ में खिंचाव के चलते बुधवार को हैदराबाद के खिलाफ मैच में नहीं खेले। इसका खामियाजा उनकी टीम को हार के साथ चुकाना पड़ा। लगातार चार जीत के बाद यह चेन्नई की पहली हार थी तो इस सीजन में खेले गए 9 मैच में दूसरी।चोटिल धोनी की जगह हैदराबाद के खिलाफ मैच में सुरेश रैना ने कप्तानी की। पिछले नौ वर्षों में यह पहला जबकि IPL इतिहास में कुल चौथा मौका था जब धोनी चेन्नई के लिए नहीं खेले। इससे पहले वह मार्च 2010 में बाहर रहे थे।
