"젊은층 40%만 결혼•출산 의향"…20대 가장 낮아
Less than half of young Koreans are interested in getting married or having children, adding to concerns over the country's chronic low birth rate.
The National Youth Policy Institute conducted a survey last year on about 31-hundred people aged 15 to 39.
Less than 43 percent of them said they want to tie the knot - a stark contrast to the 56 percent recorded in 2016.
Only 44 percent said they want to have children, down 10 percentage points from the previous year.
