Tomato chutney is an easy and quick South Indian style chutney recipe where chopped tomatoes are cooked with dry red chillies and Onion. Topped with a tadka this chutney goes very well with idli, dosa and chapati.

Ingredients:
2 cup Onions, (chopped)
4 Tomatoes (chopped)
1 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
2 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
8-10 Curry Leaves
Method: First, let's grind Onions (chopped) with Tomatoes, Salt, Red Chilli powder, grind it without the water. Now heat some oil, add Mustard Seeds let it burn for a bit, then add Curry Leaves saute for a moment. Add tomato and Onion paste and now saute for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take it out in a serving bowl and your Tomato Chutney is ready to be served with Idli, Dosa, Chapati.
