North Korea is said to be interested in buying Russian passenger airplanes to boost its flight safety.
This according to the Deputy Chairman of Russia's State Duma,... Sergei Neverov.
Leading a Russian delegation to Pyeongyang,... the senior official told Russia's TASS news agency that the two sides discussed the issue of civil aviation and flight safety and North Korean Foreign Ministry officials showed an interest in buying new Russian planes.
Neverov added such dialogue should continue as civil aviation is not restricted under the UN sanctions on the regime.
