People from all walks of life splashed and sprayed water at one another during the annual Songkran festival at the Wat Chaiya Mangalaram Temple in Burma Lane, Penang on Saturday.

Songkran festival is an important event on the Buddhist calendar as it marks the beginning of the Thai New Year.
