Pakistan facing economic despair price of milk reach to 180 rupee per litre . Milk is one of the basic commodities and important in one’s day-to-day life. Pakistan, with current estimates, is among five largest milk producing countries in the world and according to the Economic Survey of Pakistan 2017-2018, the annual production of milk is 57,890 million tons.Dairy farmers on Wednesday announced they have hiked milk price by Rs23 per litre in Karachi.Dairy farmers across the city will now be selling milk to middlemen at the price of Rs108 per litre, which will directly affect the consumers.According to Dairy Farm Association chief Shakir Umar, the talks between the dairy farmers and Commissioner Karachi yielded no result which led to the price hike.
