While it's raining in most parts of Korea, a heavy snow warning has been issued in Gangwon-do Province, including for Pyeongchang and Wonju.
Currently, snow is accumulating in mountainous regions and southern parts of the province.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the amount of snow has already reached eight centimeters in some regions.
That could hit 20 centimeters by Thursday.
A heavy snow warning is issued if the snowfall is expected to be more than 20 centimeters in a single day.
