2009 నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గాల పున‌ర్విభ‌జ‌న‌లో భాగంగా..పూత‌ల‌ప‌ట్టు, ఐరాల‌, బంగారుపాళ్యం, త‌వ‌ణంప‌ల్లి, యాద‌మ‌ర్రి మండ‌లా లు ఈ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గంలో చేరాయి. 2009 లో ఏర్పాటైన ఈ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గం లో ఒక‌సారి కాంగ్రెస్ ..మ‌రోసారి వైసిపి గెలిచాయి . అంత‌కు ముందు ఉన్న వేపంజ‌రి..పుత్తూరు నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గాలు 2009 పున‌ర్విభ‌జ‌న‌లో భాగంగా ర‌ద్ద‌య్యాయి. పుత్తూరు లో టిడిపి సీనియ‌ర్ నేత దివ‌గంత ముద్దు కృష్ణ‌మ నాయుడు అయిదు సార్లు గెలిచారు. ఈ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గం ర‌ద్దు కావ‌టంతో 2009 లో న‌గరి నుండి పోటీ చేసారు. ఆయ‌న మిహాన మ‌రెవ‌రూ ఈ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గం నుండి రెండో సారి గెలుపొంద‌లేదు. ఈ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గంలో రెడ్డివారి రాజ‌శేఖ‌ర‌రెడ్డి ఒక‌సారి గెల‌వ‌గా, ఆయ‌న తండ్రి నాద‌ముని రెడ్డి రెండు సార్లు తిరుప‌తిలో గెలు పొందారు. ఇక, 2009 నుండి పూత‌ల ప‌ట్టు లో కొత్త స‌మీక‌ర‌ణాలు మొద‌ల‌య్యాయి.
