2009 నియోజక‌వ‌ర్గాల పున‌ర్విభ‌జ‌న‌లో భాగంగా ధ‌ర్మ‌వ‌రం, ముదిగుబ్బ మండ‌లాల‌ను పూర్తిగా ధ‌ర్మ‌వ‌రం నియోజ‌క‌వ ర్గం లో చేర్చారు. ఇక్కడి నుండి మూడు సార్లు గెలిచిన నాగిరెడ్డి ఎన్టీఆర్ క్యాబినెట్‌లో ప‌ని చేసారు. రెండు సార్లు గెలిచి న పివి చౌద‌రి గ‌తంలో పి, జ‌ల‌గం, మ‌ర్రి చెన్నారెడ్డి, అంజ‌య్య మంత్రివ‌ర్గాల‌లో ఉన్నారు. 1999 లొ ఇక్క‌డ గెలిచిన కె సూర్య‌ప్ర‌తాప రెడ్డి 2003లో టిడిపి లో చేరి, తాడిప‌త్రిలో పోటీ చేసి ఓడిపోయారు. ఆ త‌రువాత ఆయ‌న కొంత కాలానికి హ‌త్య‌కు గుర‌య్యారు. అనంత‌రం ఆయ‌న కుమారుడు వెంక‌టార‌మిరెడ్డి రాజ‌కీయాల్లోకి వ‌చ్చారు. కాంగ్రెస్ నుండి ధ‌ర్మవ‌రం అభ్య‌ర్దిగా పోటీ చేసి గెలుపొందారు.
