President Moon Jae-in has declared a special disaster zone in the areas hit by the fires, which will allow the government to move quickly to help.
The designation covers a total of five cities and counties in Gangwon-do Province,… including Goseong and Sokcho.
The presidential office says support will come from all parts of the government... focusing on the recovery and restoration.
