Vanessa Langard, a 34-year-old social worker living in the Paris region, says she was hit in the face by a rubber bullet fired from an LBD on December 15, 2018, during a "yellow vest" protest. She has since lost the use of her left eye. Three months later, she says she's "okay" but that her face "was completely deformed" and "unrecognisable".
